She is a Certified Massage Therapist and holds professional Fertility Certification in Mercier Therapy.
She completed advanced and clinical-level certification in the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy through Tul’ix Indigenous Arts (formerly the Arvigo Institute), including specialized training in preconception, prenatal, and postpartum care.
She is one of the only practitioners in the Central Valley and believed to be the only practitioner in the region with advanced clinical certification in both Mercier Therapy and Arvigo Maya Abdominal Therapy, offering women a rare level of specialized reproductive bodywork.
Her continued education includes pelvic floor training for birth and wellness practitioners with Pelvic Physical Therapist Isa Herrera; myofascial pelvic therapy with John Barnes; regenerative health studies through the Institute of Regenerative Health; advanced coursework in vaginal ecology and perimenopause; uterine moxibustion, navel cupping, botanical pelvic therapies, and clinical anatomy studies through Leiden University Medical Center.
Esperanza also honors traditional postpartum and spiritual healing practices, and has been trained in Closing the Bones ceremonies and Water, Plant & Prayer spiritual healing work. She recognizes the womb as both a physiological and energetic center, carrying memory, identity, and life force.
